What The Who?
Hello. I’m Peter, the guy behind this website.
I hope you’re also not a fan of long self-glamouring essays so I’ll just cut to the chase.
Born in 1979.
Began first playing with the code in the second half of 2000ies during my work in public sector. By the early 2010s, I stopped playing and dived in head first.
As a beginner I naively thought I was “smart” by using certain Windows app that offered the ability to create Joomla, WordPress, PHP and other website themes in a matter of a couple of clicks. However, even for a simple one-page website the app spat out over 8000 lines of CSS code across dozen files.
Decision was made to man up and from then on hand-written code was the only way to go. Many lessons learned and many more clients later, here we are.
While I love Grid wholeheartedly, I only use it when needed.
Always aiming for small and understandable code that’s covers most used mobile and desktop browsers (also, depending on the project’s needs).
If it can be done in HTML and CSS, Javascript is usually left alone.
My value lies in the years of experience. Let your designers design and let me do the coding process.
I may not be a man of many words but work makes up for it. Let’s get in touch and figure it out together.
I’m available for work in person in Slovenia, but also pretty comfortable with remote work (with me being in UTC+01 timezone).
